Lis Wiehl, an American lawyer and writer who was formerly an analyst for Fox News analyst.
She is an adjunct law professor at New York Law School. Prior to that, she worked as an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. Legal commentaries have been provided to National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File alongside Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. The Imus morning show, and hosts The Legal Lis radio show. Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, Washington, and she graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She holds a diploma of Barnard College (1983), an MA in Arts in Literary Studies from University of Queensland (1985) as well as a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl is a former prosecutor at the US Attorney. She was a legal correspondent to NPR's All Things Considered. She served as the deputy chief investigating counsel for Democrats of the House Judiciary Committee, during Clinton's impeachment. She served as an associate professor of law with tenure in the University of Washington School of Law Seattle between 1995 and 2001. Wiehl was employed as an analyst for Fox News legal analyst from 2001 until 2017.
