It was common for him to be picked on at school, and being known as a Spider-Man follower, he saw himself as the Spider-Man's alter-ego, Peter Parker. After attending various schools such as Priory Preparatory School and City of London Freemen's School he was a student at the Central School of Speech and Drama as well as University of London where he was awarded his degree in 2004. Acting became a passion after he realized he didn't intend to continue studying business any longer. His professional career took off in 2005, when he made an appearance on the British television show "Sugar Rush". Two years later he landed his first lead role in the film "Boy A." as the troubled teenager trying to come back from a life in jail. Apart from "The Social Network" he played the main role in the film "The Marvelous Spider-Man". Additionally, he was chosen in 2016 to play one of the main actors in the iconic film "Silence". The actor won numerous awards such as the BAFTA Award, Tony Award, and an A.A.C.T.A. For his performance in Hacksaw Ridge and the subsequent award ceremony, he won the honor of "Best Actor".
